Privacy Policy

The data controller is NOVAWEB, Lda. (Tax ID 297277391), Santa Maria, Sal — Cape Verde, operator of BIT.cv. Contact: bit@bit.cv.

• Account data: name, email, phone (optional) and password (stored encrypted).
• Usage data: tools used, links/QR codes created and click statistics.
• Payment data: amount, reference and, where provided, the payer’s Tax ID.

Card details (number, expiry, CVV) are entered exclusively on SISP’s secure page (vinti4 network, 3-D Secure authentication). BIT.cv and NOVAWEB, Lda. never receive or store the card number.

We use the data to provide the service, process payments, issue the receipt, prevent fraud, provide customer support and comply with legal obligations.

We share only what is necessary with providers that make the service possible, namely SISP (payment processing). We do not sell personal data.

We retain the data for as long as necessary for the purposes above and for legal obligations. We apply technical and organizational measures to protect the data in transit and at rest.

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, as well as portability, by contacting bit@bit.cv.

We use cookies that are essential to the operation of the service (session/authentication) and, when enabled, measurement cookies to improve the service. You can manage them in your browser settings.
